Wiperblades.co.uk-backed Team VERTU strengthened its grip on the 2025 British Touring Car Championship Teams’ standings with more podium-winning exploits during Round 2 of the season at Brands Hatch.
The Excelr8 Motorsport-run squad carried the momentum through from a race-winning start to the year at Donington Park by securing a trio of podiums finishes at the popular Kent venue – two for Tom Ingram and one for Adam Morgan.
As well as consolidating Ingram’s second place standing in the overall drivers’ reckoning – just five points shy of the top spot – it means the Wiperblades.co.uk-sponsored outfit holds a comfortable 23 points advantage at the summit of the Teams’ ranking.
Tom Ingram, said: “It’s been a really good weekend, the car has felt beautiful. It’s been a dream and we’ve been able to score solid points once again which has allowed us to retain second in the points.
“It’s a nice place to be in at this stage, and it sets us up well for the rest of the season to try and carry this momentum on.
“Five podiums from six shows our consistency, and whilst I want to get that win, it won’t be far away with the pace we have.”
Justina Williams, Team VERTU Team Owner, added: “It’s been another great weekend on track and to come away from Brands Hatch with three more podiums has allowed us to strengthen our position in the standings.
“Of course it’s still early days in the title race but we have been strong as two very different circuits and even with limited boost, have shown that we have a car capable of being at the front.”
